Why do new Canadians get injured at work more often?
Undergraduate applications will reopen on October 1, 2017 for Fall 2018 admission.
If you applied to the BSW program, please note that all our BSW (campus and online) programs are very competitive and attract hundreds of applicants. Applications are thoroughly reviewed and evaluated both by the University Admission Office and Faculty of Social Work staff and faculty members. The Faculty of Social Work will make a recommendation to the Admissions Office by mid-April or early May providing all transcripts, including a current transcript showing your fall grades (if applicable), have been received. You will be notified of the faculty's recommendation.
The Admissions Office has final authority to admit students to the university; consequently, the formal offer of admission will come from the University Admissions Office pending verification of your grade point average and completion of the required number of courses for admission. Until you receive your formal offer of admission from the Admissions Office and you accept the offer and pay the required deposit, your place in the BSW program is not confirmed.
Graduate applications will reopen on October 1, 2017 for Fall 2018 admission to the Calgary-based MSW and PhD programs. Admission to the MSW Edmonton and Lethbridge programs occurs every other year in odd numbered years (e.g., 2019).
If you applied to our graduate programs, admission results are currently being sent to Calgary applicants. We anticipate admission to be completed by the end of March; if space becomes available waitlisted applicants will becontacted up until August 1, 2017.
Admission offers to the MSW programs in Edmonton and Lethbridge will be issued by the end of April; if space becomes available, waitlisted candidates will be contacted up until July 15.
